The Pediatric Society of Ghana organized a National Forum on Adolescent Health and Well-Being with the aim of championing the health and well-being of young people.
The forum sought to equip young individuals with knowledge to help them understand how to preserve their health and well-being.
The theme of the forum was “Young People for Change in Ghana,” and it brought together hundreds of young students at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.
Speakers at the event expressed their commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of young people, as they are seen as the future of the nation.
One of the key pieces of advice given to the youth, especially adolescents, was to be patient and avoid activities that could lead to pregnancy, as such situations can bring about significant distress and pressure.
During the forum, some students also shared their challenges and experiences related to adolescence, contributing their thoughts on how to address these challenges concerning adolescent health and well-being.
