A Forty-year-old seamstress, Madam Sewaah Akoto has allegedly conspired with her lover and two of his friends to kill her husband and dumped the body in the bush at Breman Kuntanasi in the Asikuma Odobeng Brakwa in the Asikuma Odobeng Brakwa District of the Central Region.
The 47-year-old businessman,Kweku Otsiwa according to information gathered by Kasapa news Yaw Boagyan revealed that he was found lifeless in a farmyard at Kuntanasi, a farming community in the Asikuma Odobeng Brakwa District of the Central Region.
Police have identified the suspects as a 40-year-old farmer known in the area as Kofi Show, Kofi Seth and Kwame Essel respectively, all in their early 30s. The prime suspect who is a chief is said to be on the run.
According to the account of the neighbours to the police, a few months ago, the suspect Sewaah Akoto threatened to leave her late husband for another man if he failed to stop drinking alcohol since she (Sewaah Akoto) felt disgraced.
According to the neighbours, before his death, the deceased complained to them that he caught one Kojo Eduaah, the Omankyame of the community, making love to his wife in their bedroom.
They again disclosed that a few days before the late Kweku Otsiwa’s death, four men from the Kuntanasi community rushed into his home to beat him up and warned him to stay away from Serwaa Akoto.
The said suspects are in police custody assisting with investigations, while the police are on a manhunt for the arrest of the OmanKyeame of Bremen Kuntanasi.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at Our Lady of Grace Hospital Mortuary in Breman Asikuma pending preservation and autopsy.
