Crusaders Against Corruption urges participation in protest walk against galamsey

The Crusaders Against Corruption have called on all its members to participate in the upcoming Protest Walk Against Galamsey, scheduled for Friday, October 11, 2024.

This initiative coincides with the Catholic Bishops’ decision to join the protests, highlighting the growing concern over illegal mining activities that have worsened across Ghana.

Galamsey activities have worsened across the country. The government seems to have no idea about how to deal with the menace.

Chief Crusader Mr. Emmanuel Wilson Jnr emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that the government must show commitment to fighting galamsey in the country.

He pointed out that the effects of galamsey are life-threatening, making it imperative for the government to take decisive action against this menace.
