Amasaman NDC Constituency Chairman calls for vigorous campaign ahead of elections

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Amasaman Constituency has launched a 33-day “Mop Up Campaign” to strengthen its efforts in reclaiming the parliamentary seat it lost in the 2020 elections.

The campaign, launched on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Achiaman, aims to mobilize supporters and reach out to undecided voters in the final weeks leading up to the December 7 elections.

John Desmond Dai, the NDC Constituency Chairman for Amasaman, emphasized the party’s readiness to regain control of the constituency.

Speaking at the launch event, Dai urged NDC supporters to focus their efforts on non-supporters and to engage the youth in voting massively for the party and its parliamentary candidate, Sedem Afenyo.

“We have already begun our campaign, but this is going to be the compilation of all campaigns,” Mr Dai stated.

He explained that as November is the last full month before the election, the party is mobilizing to campaign more intensively in the time remaining, ensuring that voters are aware of the NDC’s track record and vision for the constituency.

The chairman highlighted that this campaign launch is designed to maintain the momentum and energy of the NDC until the end of November, leading up to the election.

“We want everyone to understand why they need to vote for the NDC,” he added.

Mr Dai took the opportunity to express gratitude to all party executives and supporters for their dedication.

He appealed to them to campaign vigorously for the party in their various communities.
