Ghana Federation of Disability Organisation is set to engage the electoral commission ahead of the December 7th general election.
A letter signed by their president,Joseph Atsu Homadzi, pointed out that the high level meeting with EC is to advocate for greater electoral inclusion for Persons with Disabilities in the upcoming general elections.
To the Federation it is important to engage the EC to evaluate the Commission’s provision for Persons with Disabilities and present key recommendations to ensure accessible and inclusive electoral processes.
The engagement is part of Ghana Federation of Disability Organisation broader advocacy to uphold the electoral rights of all Ghanaians, regardless of ability.
