Four outstanding constituencies in the Eastern region in the just ended general elections have been sent to the Police Detective Academy at Tesano for collation.
ASP Richmond Mensah addressing the media, after a tour to witness the security arrangements put in place by NESTF, hinted that the police service has enhanced security measures for the four outstanding constituencies in the Eastern region.
According to him,collation is ongoing with a fortified security presence of poliand military to ensure the safety and security of the process.
He added that one of the constituencies has been successfully completed, leaving three of which collation process is still ongoing.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police reiterated police commitment to provide maximum security to enable the electoral commission officials carry out their duties without obstruction.
