In the pursuit to promote healthy environment Chiefs and Leaders of Ablekuma Sempe Mensah Family,has organized a clean-up exercise in Ablekuma and it’s environs ahead of the Christmas festivities.
The two day activities saw Traders,Assembly Members and hundreds of Residents teaming up with the royal family to clean choked gutters, weeded the surroundings, getting rid of plastics and clear refused on the Streets at Agape and Ablekuma Community.

Addressing the media, the Ablekuma Nkosuohemaa, Sarah Esi Meinet, who led the team to embarked on the clean up exercise stated it forms part of her initiatives to rekindle the communal labour spirit among the residents especially the youth.
According to her, regular clean up exercise in the Community would help improve the sanitary condition in the area,adding that the cleaning of the area should be a collective effort to get rid of filth and waste in drains at Agape and Ablekuma environs in other to make the place livable and functional to prevent outbreak of communicable diseases.

On his part,Nii Dade Boahene, Ablekuma Nkosuohene, pointed out that, the clean up exercise is to keep the environment and advocate for cleanliness among residents to maintain a clean and healthy environment, whiles admonished citizens to keep their surroundings tidy to avoid contracting various diseases associated with filth.
Conclusively, some of the Residents who joined, stated that the motive of joining the exercise was to create awareness about the need to live in a healthy environment and hoped the community would learn vital lessons.
They seized the opportunity to appeal to the residents to inculcate the habit of keeping their environment clean at all times and moreso thanked the residents for coming out from their various houses to join the Nkosuohemaa and the Chief’s of Sempe Mensah Family for the clean up exercise.
