“The Big Sixteen” led by the one communication officer for the Damongo constituency paid a curtesy call to the Savannah regional Chairman Alhaj Imoro Seidu Man Blessing at his private residence in Sawla today to express their sincerest gratitude to him for facilitating their bail at the Kumasi high court.
It will be recalled that, some sixteen innocent people were arrested in the Damongo constituency during the disturbances at the district collation center and district electoral commission.
According to them, though they were in custody, the officers informed them of the role Alhaj Imoro played in ensuring they were fed properly and also ensured they were granted bail.
In their concluding remarks, their leader enumerated some challenges encountered by some of them during their stay in custody.
Regional chairman in his remarks appreciated the group for recognizing his efforts and assured them of his commitment to ensuring that justice is served.
