E/R,,STUDENTS URGED TO FOCUS ON THEIR STUDIES AND BE DISCIPLINE

The Member Of Parliament for Fanteakwa South Constituancy, Hon. Duke Ofori Atta,has entreated students to focus on their studies, work hard without getting themselves involved in any unhealthy act which be a stumbling block to the future part as education is concerned.

In Furtherance, he reminded parents about their responsibilities towards the upbringing of their children, stressing. Parents must show concern by ensuring that their children are not carried away by the trapping of society and other social vices

“We must all ensure that children are brought up in a manner that will help them grow as responsible and patriotic citizens that would go a long way to promote peace in the districts,” he quizzes.

He made this call when addressing the school children during the 68th Independence Day anniversary at Osino SHS Park in Osino and emphasized that working together in the nation building and development is important to support and work together to bring meaningful development.

The Fanteakwa south lawmaker appealed for more historical and Cultural values to be teaching in schools in attached to Social studies for today’s Children to know much about their history and their Cultural to improve their Social interventions standards.

On his part, the Mr. Richard Akosah Addo,Fanteakwa South District Education Director,expressed his outfit commitment to enhancing education standards by meeting academic needs.

He praised the dedication of the school children, teachers who participated in the celebration, their enthusiasm and dedication inspired,

The education director charged parents to train their children well to enable them to take their studies seriously for education to continue to flourish in the Districts,

He used the occasion to call on the traditional leaders in Osino Traditional Area to introduce law that will restrain school children from staying late in town to avoid indiscipline in the district.

The colourful ceremony was graced and honoured by scores of people from Osino and its environs including, Heads of Departments and a match past of school children climaxed the celebration with deserving schools receiving awards on performances in various categories including primary and senior high schools.
