E/R ;ASIEDU NKATIA EXPRESSES ENTHUSIASM ABOUT DIRECT ENGAGEMENT AND TRANSFORMATIVE EFFORTS
The NDC National Chairman,MR. Johnson Asiedu Nketia has taken his ” Thank You Tour” to Nkawkaw constituency in the Eastern Region hinted, the tour aimed to appreciate the rural voters he personally campaigned during Ghana’s 2024 elections and pledged his return of appreciation, but it’s unfortunately some observers believe it may also position Mr Asiedu Nketiah for a future presidential bid.
However, speaking to NDC faithful in the Nkawkaw Constituency, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia officially expressed his profound gratitude to the contributions of Branch party executives, cadres, grassroots organisers, and also acknowledgement to Nananom of Kwahu towards the NDC’s 2024 massive Victory,
Addressing concerns from members who have yet to be appointed to government roles the National NDC Chairman appealed for understanding, stressing, the leadership is working to ensure all loyal members get the opportunity to serve and also appealed those who are not yet gotten any position to have patience because if they don’t focus on the task ahead and joke in the Governance, the party will be thrown away by Ghanaians.
On his part, Chairman Halidu Tamimu, the Nkawkaw Constituency NDC Chairman,_ justified the “Thank You tour” as aimed at reconnecting with the grassroots following the NDC’s election victory and used the opportunity to called for calm among all NDC members of Nkawkaw constituency and assuring that Job opportunities will be create for all.
In Furtherance, he expressed, Mr. Asiedu Nketia’s approach reflects broader NDC efforts to maintain grassroots engagement following their return to power emphasizing, continued connection with supporters, and appreciations will establishes precedents for how the NDC acknowledges grassroots contributions while maintaining organizational unity.
