ENTREPRENEURS AND INNOVATORS CHARGE MEMBERS TO CONVINCE DELEGATES OF NPP TO VOTE FOR KEN
Members of Entrepreneurs and Innovators Network, Ghana, have charged its members who are delegates to vote for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the upcoming primaries of the New Patriotic Party. The chairman of the Network, Joseph Osei Oppong-Brenya, also encouraged non-delegates to convince and impress upon family, friends, and neighbors who are delegates to vote for him.
Mr. Oppong-Brenya believes Ghana needs a leader with hands-on business experience to tackle job creation and financial management. “We, the business owners who employ people, can run Ghana like our own business,” he said. “Dealing with people is what Ghana is about, and we’re capable of doing it.”
He criticized past leaders, saying they’ve failed to address unemployment and economic stability despite their academic and professional credentials. In contrast, a successful entrepreneur like Kennedy Agyapong, who has built businesses and created jobs, is better positioned to lead the country.
Brenya added that many voters abstained in the last election due to dissatisfaction with the NPP’s candidate, but Kennedy Agyapong remains popular among grassroots supporters. “Ghana needs someone who speaks the language of business and delivers results, not just book knowledge,” he emphasized.
“On 15 December 2025, our National Conference in Tamale provided a platform for us to engage in discussions on the business environment and ecosystem, geared towards equipping our members with the knowledge to exploit opportunities and prepare for the year ahead. The Entrepreneurs and Innovators Network Ghana (EING) is determined to back Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s leadership bid for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 2028 elections as part of our strategic plans.”
This determination, Mr. Brenya said, is rooted in their aspiration for a business-savvy individual to steer the country.
