Kasoa: NPP Condemns Demolition Exercise, Calls on Government to Compensate Over 1,000 Petty Traders
The Awutu Senya East Constituency Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have strongly condemned the recent demolition exercise carried out at the Kasoa market, which has left nearly 1,000 petty traders stranded.

According to the executives, the exercise has caused severe hardship for the affected traders, many of whom have lost their sources of livelihood.
They are therefore calling on the government to, as a matter of urgency, provide adequate compensation to support the victims and help them rebuild their businesses.
At a press briefing Michael Addy ,NPP constituency secretary for the Awutu Senya East constituency described the process as total wickedness for evicting these poor people from the shed
some party members have also appealed to the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East to engage directly with the affected traders.
They described the actions of the Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Chief Executive, as worrying and painful.
