Held on Easter Monday, the event—organised in collaboration with the Outpouring Oasis and the PowerRead Africa Foundation—transformed the auditorium into a vibrant hub of joy, learning and community bonding.

The Founder of the DAP Global Foundation, Dr Amaris Perbi, said the foundation is committed to supporting communities across the globe, particularly in Africa, with a strong focus on education and empowering children.
“DAP Global Foundation reaches out to communities across the globe, especially in Africa, to promote education and ensure that children have a a voice through the power of reading,” he said.

According to him, the foundation works closely with the PowerRead Africa Foundation to promote global reading initiatives and contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
He explained that the initiative is particularly important because it creates an opportunity for children from both privileged and deprived
backgrounds to interact.
The annual Love Feast project, which began in 2010, has since grown into a global initiative organised in different countries including Rwanda and Tanzania.
Popular Ghanaian comedian and actor Funny Face and child poet Nakeeyat Dramani Sam were among celebrities present to entertain the children.
A competition segment was held where individuals received awards from the various competition allowing team Funny Face emerged victorious with 10 points, while team Nakeeyat scored 2 points. Team Funny Face was therefore presented with a trophy in recognition of their outstanding performance.

Popular comedian Funny Face, who entertained the children during the event, said he was honoured to be part of the celebration.
He also encouraged parents to expose their children to such programmes adding that parents should always take their children to events like this which opens their minds, helps them meet other children, communicate and have fun. Some of us didn’t get this kind of privilege growing up,” he added.
