
In a significant development for Accra’s ongoing efforts to enhance sanitation and disaster management, the Mayor of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Elizabeth Sackey, has officially announced the initiation of sanitation courts.
This announcement was made during the launch of the 125th Anniversary of the Assembly, which was celebrated under the theme, “125 Years of Local Governance: Strengthening Community Resilience and Sustainable Development of the City of Accra.”
Mayor Elizabeth Sackey commended the commendable progress and dedicated efforts made towards disaster management and the protection of lives within the city.
She highlighted that these accomplishments stand as a testament to the resilience and determination of the people of Accra who have consistently worked to improve their city.
