LET’S USE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYERS AND THANKSGIVING TO PROMOTE PEACE AND STABILITY.

 

The Municipal Chief Executive of Kwahu West Municipal Assembly (MCE) Hon. Tamimu Halidu,has called for Unity, Peace, Stability and vigilance against forces that threaten Ghana’s social cohesion in a THEME: RESETTING OUR VALUES YO BUILD THE GHANA WE WANT.

Speaking at the event, Hon.Tamimu Halidu, stated that, “One of Ghana’s greatest blessings is the harmony with which Ghanaians practice in diverse faiths stressing, Christians, Muslims and traditionalists, worship differently but work together as one people and shine as unifying Ghanaians, nurturing a spiritual culture of gratitude, about fostering unity in diversity and elevating the national consciousness to appreciate the hand of God in the affairs of the country.

On his part, Rev. Vincent Lawer Marji,the District Minister of Nkawkaw Presbyterian Church of Ghana, who doubles as Chairman of Nkawkaw Local Council of Churches,emphasised the importance of fostering peace, compassion and mutual respect among Ghanaians.

In furtherance hint, the theme inspires by a passionate prayer of Thanksgiving to seek the Lord to guide the nation and also unify prayer gatherings Glorify God among the Nation.
