UNDEMOCRATIC PRACTICES OF THE AKUFO ADDO LED GOVERNMENT AND THEIR UNPRECEDENTED DESTABILISATION OF SOME STATE INSTITUTIONS THREATENING THE FOUNDATION PILLARS OF OUR DEMOCRACY AND PEACE AND THE CONSTITUTION ENJOINS US TO RESIST OPPRESSORS RULE.
The Caucus For Mature Democrats has observed with all seriousness the lapses of president Akufo addo led government that threatens our democracy and national peace. Below are few of our observations worth placing on record:
First it was unconstitutional changing of the electoral commissioner who declared president akufo addo president of the Republic in election 2016 and replaced her with his family member Jean Mensah.
Next was unconstitutional sacking of the former Auditor General, Mr Yaw Domelevo for attaining the age of 60 years mandatory retirement whose dismissal letter was signed by a 70 year old man under president akufo addo in his office.
The next painful issue was OVER STUFFING both levels of the judiciary and still so ongoing in a junk economy where both our domestic and foreign debts can never be serviced for some couple of years now upon all the huge amounts of money borrowed by nana addo to accumulate the national debt stock, contrary to their own declaration that, the public sector is chocked.
Furthermore there was an orchestrated attempt to OUST the inspector general of police, George Akuffo Dampare by active serving police officers as alluded to by COP Alex Mensah with the involvement of Alhaj Bugri Naabu, an npp regional chairman still under parliamentary commission of enquiry investigation.
Much as we all know how criminal minded the npp are, and having the support of the Security agencies, the judiciary and the electoral commission, every patriotic citizen who cherishes our constitution, democracy, rule of law, accountability and peace must GENUINELY be worried if not angry enough.
Another worry of patriotic Ghanaians is the alleged MISSING BVDs at the offices of the electoral commission and in this particular case We the people of Ghana have the genuine concern NEVER TO ACCEPT the COCK AND BULL stories hook, line and sinker from the npp infiltrated EC whose offices are protected 24/7 with physical presence of security and CCTV installed cameras. Who knows?
It could be that, those BVDs have deliberately been released to support illegal registration of members of the npp while the whole other political parties in Ghana struggle with the few left or even before the limited registration Exercise commenced. There must therefore be thorough investigations for those who negligently caused the alleged loss to SEVERELY PUNISHED.
Can any logical thinking person imagine the irreparable damage that alone can cause the sovereign will of Ghanaians when our true will is denied?
Leaders of parties must never accept attempts of such illegality to be caused by some of the elected few in government just to conceal their corrupt and criminal practices at the expense of the electorate who are the TRUE KINGMAKERS per constitutional provisions.
It would be failure on our part as patriotic citizens not to vehemently disagree with the EC and we must add that, calm can only return to our hearts when efforts are urgently and seriously made by both leaders, to unanimously call for independent probe into such suspected strategic cover up by EC in suspected support of the npp. No genuine Democrat will say Ghanaians should take it lightly and the Caucus For Mature Democrats where I belong are LIVID.
Livid because of how the judiciary, the security agencies, the EC and national peace council including opinion leaders and chiefs, remained quiet until the mother serpent of corruption and the corruption clearing agent and his looting junta looted to collapse the economy.
Corruption clearing agent because the police had arrested earth moving machines belonging to Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the Ashanti regional chairman of his ruling npp with embossment of AKUNTA MINING COMPANY in them and under police investigation, nana addo came publicly to indirectly or directly told the police to stop investigations by PUBLICLY ANNOUNCING to Ghanaians that, the Akunta mining company is not involved in any ILLEGAL MINING. Ask nana addo what those excavators were doing in the forest, and he can’t answer.
Every patriotic Ghanaians who cherishes the constitution, democracy and peace we are all enjoying today must be LIVID having our economy totally crashed with arrogance. Our democracy has been made stupid now and everyone is looking on silently.
Arrogance because when the president was insensitively wasting our $20,000 per hour on needless foreign travels, and in this particular case we Ghanaians must commend honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa for exposing the president for us to know that president nana addo largely contributed to our collapsed economy.
Yet upon all his calls for nana addo to cease forthwith the needless waste, the president still so continued his opulence until our total economic collapse.
It is a constitutional, national, democratic and a communal labour for all of patriotic citizens to put our lives on the line, to prevent a recurrence of the election 2020 shooting and killing in our defence of the state, constitution and peace.
It must further be put on record that, the Caucus For Mature Democrats (CMD) where I am the executive secretary and indeed all of who are very LIVID, are ready and willing to protect our democracy with our lives, refusing to be COWED with uniform, guns and attempts to kill again.
It must also be on record that, should there be any such undemocratic attempts to subvert the true will of Ghanaians again, we will also collectively stand against any such subversive person, group of people or institution at all cost and with anything we can lay hands on, to defend ourselves and our country against intimidation and or self imposed destruction just like our SELF IMPOSED ECONOMIC COLLAPSE.
We finally urges and enjoins all retired service men and women, to rise up and talk, especially those with peacekeeping experience achieved serving in Africa and beyond, to lay our experiences bare to prevent what happened in Liberia, Sierra Leon, Ivory Coast, DR Congo, Lebanon and other countries that had never even faced a quarter of hardship, suffering and hunger, deliberate imposed on Ghanaians by the nana addo led corrupt looting junta.
In conclusion, please permit the Caucus to crave your indulgence to vote for former President John Dramani Mahama because he is tried, and tested and he passed with distinction. If truth be told, he is the Osagyefo Doctor Kwame Nkrumah of our modern Ghana today. There is no one in npp who can be compared to John Dramani Mahama. He is a development GIANT, an unmatched visionary, nation-builder and the best to rescue Ghana from the criminals and thieves who looted to collapse our economy. He will bring our dead economy back to life and on the path to growth and prosperity again.
We urge all Ghanaians to consider the rescue of Ghana come 7th December, 2024 as a constitutional duty, patriotic national service and a Communal Labour to help rescue Ghana by refusing to be intimidated or COWED and come out in our multitudes to vote for John Mahama and NDC, as our contribution to saving our democracy.
