John Mahama urges trainee nurses to prioritize jobs over allowances

Former President John Mahama has encouraged trainee nurses to prioritize securing stable employment over relying on allowances, emphasizing the importance of sustainable job opportunities in the healthcare sector.

In his address to the trainee nurses, Mahama acknowledged their financial struggles but asserted that long-term employment offers greater benefits than temporary financial support.

He assured them that his administration would focus on job creation within the healthcare field, aiming to provide nurses and other healthcare professionals with stable and fulfilling careers.

Mahama criticized the current government for not meeting its commitments, highlighting that many nurses have gone without their allowances for nearly 30 months.
