
Reverend Father Ando, the esteemed head pastor of St. George Parish in Kuntanase, Ashanti Region, conveyed heartfelt gratitude as the church commemorated its 40th anniversary with a poignant Mass and a successful fundraising event.

Reverend Father Ando, the head pastor for St. George Parish, stated that St. George Catholic Church in Kuntanase, Ashanti Region, celebrated its 40th anniversary with a Mass and fundraising event.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who made the day possible. Despite the hardships faced in Kuntanase St. George Parish, he emphasized the importance of celebrating happiness after difficult times and understanding that struggles are a part of life.

Concluding the 40th anniversary, prayers were made for strength and unity to continue the church’s work. Development projects such as the St. George Senior High School were initiated, with hopes that the school will produce prominent individuals in the country in the coming years.

Gratitude was expressed to both past and present Reverend Fathers, those who have passed away and those who are still alive, and everyone who has contributed to the church’s current position.
Reverend Father John Kwodwo Agyekum, the head pastor of Obuasi St. Philip in Obuasi Tutuka and the Vica General, expressed that the 40th anniversary brought happiness and inspiration, despite facing hardships.

He emphasized the need to take care of natural resources provided by God and to avoid destroying the land out of greed and selfishness. Additionally, he called for obedience to the law and wise decision-making to protect the land and the forests.

In light of this year being an election year, he urged everyone to work towards ensuring peace during and after the elections.
