The regional caucus of the People’s National Congress (PNC) has condemned the party’s disqualification from the presidential race, citing fraudulent elections.
During the press conference, the group alleged that winners of the biased election used unfair means to achieve victory. They pointed fingers at individuals who devised the fraudulent plan, arguing that they failed to meet the Electoral Commission’s (EC) demands.
The caucus, led by Thomas Moon Jnr, former Parliamentary Candidate for Weija Gbawe constituency, called on the EC to annul the National Congress Elections held on September 7, 2024. They also called on EC to conduct a re-run of the elections, ensuring a free, fair, and open process for all party delegates.
Moon Jnr revealed that in the Greater Accra region, manipulation of the voters’ album disenfranchised legitimate delegates from Ayawaso West, Ayawaso East, Weija Gbawe, and Madina.
These delegates arrived at the polling center only to discover their names were missing from the album, denying them their right to vote.
