Flagbearer for the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumakuma, has stated that the proposed auditing of the voter’s register should not be the current priority.
Her comments follow a recent Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting regarding the voters register.
Speaking on Hot FM’s Hot Morning Drive with Don Kwabena Prah Jnr, Madam Kumakuma emphasized that the CPP is preparing to launch a system aimed at developing the country.
“The CPP is the only hope for Ghanaians,” she declared, highlighting her party’s commitment to addressing pressing national issues.
In addition to her remarks on the voters register, Madam Kumakuma addressed the ongoing galamsey crisis, asserting that the CPP will take decisive action to halt illegal mining while ensuring that gold production continues for the benefit of the nation.
According to her, the CPP is committed to environmental stewardship and sustainable development and is ready to address the challenges posed by illegal mining activities.
