
Residents of Medie have expressed significant concerns regarding the deteriorating condition of their inner roads, which they say has led to numerous problems.
According to locals, drivers are charging higher fares due to the poor road network, and many residents experience bodily pains after using these roads.
Market women in the area shared their frustrations with Homebase TV, stating that the bad road conditions have persisted for a long time despite their appeals to authorities for assistance. One market woman remarked,

“We are therefore telling the government to come to our aid as we are heading towards elections,” they stressed.
On his part, Hon. Joseph Nii Ankra, the Assemblymember for the Medie electoral area, acknowledged that while there are some minor issues in the area, the road network and drainage system remain major concerns.

He urged the government to address these pressing problems.
