The NPP has nothing to offer again after 8 years- Amasaman Youth Organizer

The youth of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Amasaman Constituency have taken to the streets to advocate for the positive visions and policies of their parliamentary candidate, Sedem Afenyo, and the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

In a media briefing during the campaign, George Asare, the Campaign Organizer and Youth Organizer for the NDC in Amasaman, stated that the initiative aims to raise awareness about the economic challenges facing Ghanaians, asserting that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has exhausted its offerings after eight years in power.

This campaign, according to him, is designed to highlight the NDC Youth Manifesto, which is focused on ensuring that the youth are secure and can lead comfortable lives.

Mr. Asare emphasized the necessity of educating constituents about the significant visions of both Sedem Afenyo and John Dramani Mahama.

He stressed that this understanding is crucial for voters to make informed choices in the upcoming December 7 elections.

“People must be informed about the aspirations of Hon. Sedem Afenyo and John Dramani Mahama so they can appreciate why their votes matter,” he remarked.

He also pointed out that many individuals in Amasaman are unemployed and may resort to illegal activities for survival.

Mr. Asare praised Hon. Sedem Afenyo for his contributions, despite not currently holding a parliamentary position, highlighting initiatives such as job opportunities in construction and estate planning, as well as providing entrepreneurial resources like sewing machines and makeup tools to support youth entrepreneurship.

He urged residents of Amasaman to focus their votes on John Dramani Mahama and Sedem Afenyo in the upcoming election, asserting that their visions can alleviate the hardships faced by the community.
