
Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Amasaman Constituency, Bishop Samuel K. Denoo, has organized the second edition of skills training program aimed at boosting the entrepreneurial skills of community members.
The initiative, themed “Job and Cash,” took place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, and is designed to empower participants by providing practical skills and startup capital to enhance their livelihoods.
The training covered a variety of skills, including soap making, after wash, shower gel, meat pie making, amongst others.
The first batch of training successfully engaged around 300 to 400 participants, all of whom benefited from the program. However, this second edition has extended its reach with about 600 participants.
In addressing the media, the Spokesperson for Bishop Samuel Kwame Denoo, Doris Mirekuwa emphasized the importance of skill acquisition for economic empowerment, noting that many people have undergone training but are unable to start their own businesses due to financial constraints.

She revealed that Bishop Denoo is very committed to create more opportunities for local entrepreneurs by instilling great skills in them by initiating these programs.
She acknowleged the fact that the organization of these skills training programs is not to deceive the locals into voting for Bishop Denoo however, it is a testimony of the great visions that he has for the people of Amasaman.

Madam Mirekuwa added that women are the backbone of every family and hence, need to create opportunities for them to build the family as supposed to.
She advocates for continued empowerment through skills training and capital funding as a means to reduce unemployment in Amasaman.
Doris Mirekuwaa highlighted the significance of skill acquisition in alleviating poverty and unemployment in the constituency.
She praised the initiative for providing hundreds with training and startup capital, urging community members to seize opportunities for skill development.
Beneficiaries of the training expressed their gratitude towards Bishop Denoo for his initiatives and promised to apply their newly acquired skills effectively to improve their lives.
They are appealing to the people of Amasaman to vote for Bishop Denoo for him to continue his good works.
