The Elections Security Task Force has met with the Electoral Commission to discuss preparation made so far ahead of the general elections.
Chairperson of the commission, madam Jane Mensah asserted Biometric verification Divices have been distributed to 8 regions for safe keeping in police amory.
According to her, with the exception of the Northern region, the Bono region and Bono East regional ballot have been discerminated to all regions.

The chairperson alluded that her outfit has trained close to 210,00 temporary staff to supervise the upcoming general elections, ensuring free, fair, and transparent electoral processes.
She added that the register for the voting on 7th December is ready and has been discerminated across the country.
She is of the view that, with the collaboration from the elections security task, Ghana is going to witness a peaceful and credible election in the history of this country.
Chairman of the Elections Security Task Force, Dr George Akufo Dampare commended the electoral commission for the they have done so far ahead of the general elections.
The IGG assured the electoral commission for maximum security protection to ensure that both staff and temporary staff of the commission will have the peace to carry out the mandatory duties on the day of elections.
He added that the elections security task force has walked their talk and the therefore it bestowed on the citizens to deprecated the same in ensuring Ghana scale through the 2024 general elections without any casualty.
