Children of the late queen mother of Obomeng Kwahu have taken an initiative to feed over 100 indigent aged on the eve of Christmas in honour of their late mother.

Mama Ama Wadie Amaakwei said the gesture to the aged was an annual ritual been carried out by the mother, the late queen mother of Obomeng Kwahu ,adding it is prudent for them to continue what their late mum left behind.

According to her,the aged are most often vulnerable people in society and are not able to pull themselves out of poverty, hunger, and lack of basic necessities.
In Furtherance, the Chief of Kwahu Obomeng, Nana Effah Opinamang lll, similarly donated a set of musical instruments ( BRASS BAND) to the youth in Kwahu Obomeng community.
The donation is to enable them to learn how to play the instruments in order to support activities in the community by avoiding criminalities.
” As the good books(Bible) says, the devil always finds job for the ideal person,therefore, the set of musical instruments will help engage the youth of Obomeng,” he asserted.
Conclusively, some of the Beneficiaries thanked the children for their timely during the Christmas festivities.
They prayed for God’s guidance and protection for the entire family of the late queen mother of Obomeng Kwahu for ensuring that their mother’s vision still strives on during the festive season.
