FARMERS SHOWS GRATITUDE TO TRADITIONAL LEADERS AMIDST FULANI ISSUES

Farmers in Kwahu Tafo in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern part of Ghana have expressed their gratitude to the Kwahu Tafo Chief, Nana Opoku Mintah ll, for his commitment in fighting Fulani herdsmen activities that has been hindering to farming activities in the Kwahu Tafo Community.

The farmers who had faced years of hardship and struggle lauded the move by their Chief and elders to sack the Fulani herdsmen from Kwahu Tafo lands to allow them(farmers) improve their livelihoods.

According to them,the initiative of allowing the fullani people to evacuate their farm lands will provide more sustainable income for their hard work to help them cater for their families.

Nana Opoku Mintah ll, Chief of Kwahu Tafo, also the Kwahu Twafuohene thanked the Farmers for their kind gesture and showed his appreciation to all who supported him,in his pursuit to evacuate Fulani’s from Kwahu Tafo.

Conclusively, in addition, Nana Gyemfuah Aduako ll, Queen-mother of Kwahu Tafo, who doubles as Kwahu Twafuohemaa, used the opportunity to commended the Farmers for their kind gesture, whiles commended Nana Opoku Mintah ll, for his timely support to elevates the Fulani’s.
