GHANA IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS AGAIN, MAHAMA TELLS BUSINESS COMMUNITY

Newly president of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has assured the business community that Ghana, under his leadership Ghana, is open for business again.

At his inaugural ceremony, Mr Mahama called on business leaders and entrepreneurs to support his new model of the 24-hour economy in shaping the business environment where creativity thrives.

According to him,the 24-hour economy will allow them to embrace diversity, to cater, and to varied lifestyles and preferences to foster culture of inclusion.

He alluded that the role of the business community in driving the Ghanaian economy forward cannot be overstated,adding that his government would look at the tax regime and rationalise them to be more transparent.
