Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, says Ghana will be able to reset its economy if there is financial discipline in all its practices.
Speaking at the National Economic Dialogue on Monday, March 3, 2025, Dr. Ato Forson indicated that to be able to reset the economy of Ghana, there is a need to understand that short term gains have longstanding consequences on the country.
“We can reset our economy; we can do this. We just have to be disciplined and understand that the short term gains today have a long term consequences on our country,” he said.
According to him, Ghana is currently facing economic challenges and for the country to be able to drive towards economic growth and recovery, there is a need for discipline.
He reiterated government’s commitment to reviving Ghana’s economy as there are policies and key reforms put in place to stabilize the economy.
The National Economic Dialogue is a forum to bring together various stakeholders to discuss strategies to reviving Ghana’s economy.
