E/R: ATIWA EAST DCE NOMINEE ERNEST OWUSU NTIM CONFIRMED WITH 100% VOTES
The District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee for Atiwa East,Hon. Ernest Owusu Ntim has been confirmed by Assembly members after securing 100% of the total votes cast of 23.
At the confirmation exercise in his remarks, Hon. Ernest Owusu Ntim, expressed appreciation to the Assembly members and stakeholders for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work diligently to accelerate the development agenda of Atiwa East and its surrounding communities.
Touching on pressing concerns Hon, Ernest Owusu Ntim,reiterated his commitment to inclusivity, urging all stakeholders to look beyond political affiliations in the collective effort to advance development in the District and expressed his policy to do proper mining by reclaimation of lands as well as focus on education.
Also in Relation, the ATIWA WEST DISTRICT,” Hon. John Anum Amo,successfully secured a remarkable of 100% Votes endorsement from the Assembly Members as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership and vision as the New District Chief Executive (DCE) in the Atiwa West District.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. John Anum Amo, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the President, the leadership of the NDC, and the entire Assembly Members for entrusting him with the mandate to serve and pledged to lead a development focused administration centered on key sectors such as Agriculture and a Proper way of Mining, whiles appealed to the Chief’s of the Area to avoid Chieftaincy disputes and unites for development and stressed the importance of unity and cooperation in addressing the District challenges.
The Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey,on her addressed said the nominee has been carefully selected based on merit, competence, loyalty and an unflinching commitment to serve the District stressing, the government of President Mahama resetting
agenda with a focused strategy to stabilize the economy, drive infrastructural expansion, deepen decentralization and improve livelihoods and encouraged the newly confirmed DCE to collaborate closely with Assembly members and drive development across their respective jurisdictions.
