
Élevé Healthwatch, a public health initiative focused on population health screening in Ghana, in partnership with Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital has launched initiative to provide preventive health, wellness, and chronic disease screening to the communities in Ghana.
The initiative focuses on early screening and access to care, especially in low-resource settings, to ensure basic care is accessible.
Speaking to the media, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of Élevé Healthwatch, Nana Abena Gyamfua, emphasized the goal of bringing care closer to the community.

According to her, Eleve Healthwatch is described as a community-driven outreach program that prioritizes screening, leading to early diagnosis and treatment.
Successful screenings have been conducted in rural and semi-urban areas, with a significant number of participants receiving treatment and medications.
Eleve Healthwatch again partnered with Akwapim South Municipal Health Directorate and Rotary Club, Accra Ring Road Central, where over 600 participants screened in Berekusu and Oboadaka.

Nana Abena stated that comprehensive specialist assessments conducted, including maternal health scans and mental health assessments, with onward referrals for those in need.
She added that the project aims to sustain care in the screened areas and follow up on the treatment provided, ensuring continuity of care.
The initiative aims to expand nationally, with collaborative efforts from the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and other partners.
