KWAHU WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY BEGINS MASSIVE DECONGESTION EXERCISE
Following a recent tragic incident in Nkawkaw, the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly Security Council (MUSEC) has demolished a number of unauthorized temporary illegal structures to remove all Squatters at Nkawkaw Agbogbloshie area.

The exercise was undertaken by MUSEC in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), in which the team targeted structures built in the area of the murder of late musician Dada Kaaza.”

He emphasized the importance of addressing the issue to avoid future happenings, stating he is committed in taking every necessary action to halt illegal development in the municipality.

For his part, Rev. Daniel Nkrumah the Kwahu West Municipal coordinating Director also expressed concern about the impact of the developments attributed to the unauthorised structures and highlighted that, no building permits had been granted for the structures being demolished.
He alluded the assembly would put in measures to prevent similar structures from being built in the future, whiles used the opportunity to advise the youth against illegal activities.
