DCE BREAK GROUNDS FOR MASSIVE INFRASTRUCTURAL PROJECTSDCE

 

The Atiwa West District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Amo Johnson,has cut sod for the construction of several devolopmental projects in the Atiwa West District for Nkurakan Community-based Health Planning and Service (CHPS) compound with ancillary Facility and 6-unit classroom block at Sankubenase Bresby Basic school, also 3-unit classroom block at Asamama Methodist Basic school and 2-unit KG. classroom block at R/C Basic school at “Abranya all with ancillary facilities.

Speaking after the sod-cutting event Hon. Johnson Amo expressed, the projects aimed to improve infrastructure more accessible within the District.

 

He alluded that the projects forms part of President Mahama’s vision to expand projects to every corner of the country, to enable Ghanaians get their fair share of the national cake and explained, funds are allocated for all the aforementioned five projects.

Hon. Amo, used the occasion to advised the contractors to execute the projects according to it’s specifications on schedule, with the hirring of community workers whiles, charged the youth in the Communities to be proactive in their work.

Finally, on the part of the contractors, they extended profound gratitude to the government for the commencement of several great projects and said when completed the projects will enhance ease among the people in the communities stressing, the projects will benefit the communities in many ways, also they disclosed a lot of challenges contractors faced in hirring communities workers.
