TEASE TRADITIONAL LEADERS URGED YOUTH TO USE HOMECOMING INITIATIVE AS DEVELOPMENTAL TOOL
Traditional Leaders of Tease community at Kwahu Afram Plains South District in the Eastern Region, have called on its citizens both Home and Abroad to take advantage of home coming occasion to initiate developmental Projects.
Nananom, made this call during a week-long Tease “Home Coming Festival in Support for Potable Water project organized by the Traditional council in collaboration with Tease Royals.
The event under the Theme: Clean Water, Healthy Live – Building A Better Tease Together, brought together natives from across the globe coming home to socialize and discuss development of the Tease community, where throughout the Festive season.
Residents were made undertook Health Screening, Health Walk, Clean-up Exercise, Music Festivals, Party with Aged, among other events.
Addressing at the event, Nana Akosua Yeboah, Queenmother of Kwahu Tease, expressed her joy for the involvement of the youth in the Home Coming event to bring development to the doorstep of the Residents.
On his part, Nana Kwakye Ansong Asomadu IV,Chief of Tease commended residents of Tease and its surrounding areas for the Peace and Unity among themselves,urged them to continue living in harmony with people of diverse Religious, Political and Ethnic affiliations, whiles advised the youth especially, the young girls to take their education serious for a brighter future.
Finally, Mr. Kwaku Amponsah,(popularlly known as – Easy Way Production), the chairman of Tease Royals used the occasion to appealed to the government to help expand water system infrastructure in the area to absorb lack of accessing potable water and in furtherance, praised the citizens of their participation of the initiative aimed at promoting unity and development in the area
He called on all natives of other communities to consider going back to support the development of their communities to improve the standard living of the people and therefore, appealed to philanthropists, institutions and well-wishers of Tease to support the community.
