This morning, Hon. Boakye Kyerematen Agyarko, a contestant for the position of National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), led members of his campaign team to pay a condolence visit to former National Chairman of the Party, Mr. Peter Mac Manu, following the passing of his beloved wife, Mrs. Alice Mac Manu.
During the visit, Hon. Boakye Agyarko reflected on his longstanding friendship with Mr. Mac Manu and his family, a relationship that dates back to their days as students at the University of Ghana. He also recalled the many years they have worked together in the New Patriotic Party and in Ghana’s political landscape.
Hon. Boakye Agyarko signed the Book of Condolence, conveying his profound sadness at the loss and extending his heartfelt sympathies to Mr. Mac Manu and the entire bereaved family. He prayed for God’s strength, comfort, and protection for them during this difficult period.
He was accompanied by his Campaign Manager, Hon. Henry Quartey and an entourage of his Campaign Team including: Hon. Cynthia Maamle Morrison, former Minister for Gender, Children & Social Protection and former MP for Agona West Constituency, Hon. Sheilla Bartels, former MP for Ablekuma North Constituency.
It also included Mr. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, former CEO of NEIP, Hon. Solomon Adomako Kissi, former MP of Anyaa-Sowutuom Constituency, Hon. Akua Afriyie, former MP for Ablekuma North Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere, former MP for Tano South Constituency, and Hon. George Andah, former MP for Awutu Senya West Constituency.
