Obuasi DVLA Manager commended the government for the introduction of Biometric registration of vehicles.

The Obuasi manager of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has lauded the government for the introduction of Biometric registration of vehicles.

He said the introduction of the Biometric registration of vehicles he added that the new system was also meant to prevent stolen vehicles and fraud, double registration, and theft and also end petty mistakes in the system.

He explained that
“On the first day, we were having some challenges, some pressure on the application system which slowed down the process at the initial stage.

“I will advise the public that it’s a new system we have started. But it is a very good system. We all need to embrace it, especially the drivers and car owners.

He promised that the new introduction of online biometric vehicle registration has made the process smooth and easier for customers.

However, Manager Mr. Edwin Ofori cautioned customers to avoid the use of “goro guys” and deal directly with the DVLA officers.
