The Vice President of the Republic Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia comments on LGBTQIA on 11 April 2024 at Kumasi central mosques.
According to the Vice President of the Republic Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, said asked Ghanaian frown on practice of homosexuality further more, as the Muslim his views on this matter align with the position of his religious faith the only Quran speaks again the LGBTQIA including same sex marriages.
The vice president of the republic continue that his faith is therefore very speaking against this homosexuality, no shame of greed therefore himself personally cannot support that with his religion and indeed all major religions in Ghana as well as our societours norms and values clearly against homosexuality.
He add all the major religions in Ghana, Christianity and Muslim are opposed to this practice and he stands opposed it now and he will stand opposed to it as a President.
Finally brother and sister as the holy month of Ramadan is leaving us let continue uphold the good values of kindness, sacrifice and forgiveness that we demonstrate in the past one month our community and our nation will continue a great place for us if we continue be others keeper may the almighty Allah accept our prayers grant us the blessings of Ramadan and Eid- ul Mubarak also bless our homeland Ghana
