On Thursday, June 13, 2024, the Techiman High Court Complex was officially commisioned in a brief ceremony jointly organized by the Office of the Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice, and the Techiman Municipal Assembly.
The establishment of the court complex demonstrates the government’s commitment to upholding the Rule of Law and ensuring access to justice for all, as stipulated in Section 12(3)(b) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936).
The commissioning ceremony was graced by a distinguished array of dignitaries, including His Lordship Justice Issifu Omoro Tanko Amadu (JSC) – the representative of Her Ladyship, the Chief Justice, Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Torkornoo, Hon.
