Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says his government will implement policies that will help drive economic growth and development.
Speaking during the launch of the party’s manifesto in the Western Region on the 18th of August, 2024, Dr. Bawumia reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling all promises made to Ghanaians.
According to him, his government will prioritze digital transformation, infrastructure development, job creation, and other economic developmental projects that will help create opportunities for Ghanaians, particularly the youth.
The Vice President also highlighted the importance of investing in education and healthcare to build a resilient society, reassuring Ghanaians that every pledge made during his campaign was carefully considered to address the pressing challenges facing the nation.
Dr. Bawuma, during the manifesto launch, expressed much optimism that despite the economic challenges the country is facing, his leadership will turn the situation around for the betterment of Ghanaians.
He seized the opportunity to call for collaboration with various stakeholders, including the private sector and civil society organizations, to ensure effective implementation of development plans.
Bawumia urged Ghanaians to trust in his leadership and provide him the opportunity to deliver on his promises, stating that with dedication and hard work, his administration would guide the country toward prosperity.
He concluded by emphasizing the importance of maintaining fiscal discipline, fighting corruption, and promoting accountability in government to restore confidence in public institutions.
