NDC to launch 2024 election manifesto on August 24

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to launch its manifesto for the upcoming 2024 general elections on Saturday, August 24, at the University of Education, Winneba, in the Central Region.

The event will feature participation from key figures within the party, including members of the National Executive Committee, the Council of Elders, sitting Members of Parliament, parliamentary candidates, and other prominent guests from the diplomatic community, religious leaders, traditional authorities, civil society organizations, academics, labor groups, and the creative arts sector.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer, will serve as the Special Guest of Honor at the occasion.

According to the Communications Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi, various speakers will address the nation on thematic areas of the party’s transformational vision aimed at resetting and building the Ghana that citizens desire.

This launch follows the recent unveiling of the party’s Youth Manifesto in Accra, indicating the NDC’s commitment to engaging with the electorate ahead of the elections.
