NPP launches campaign in Amasaman to support PC Yahya Kassim and Vice President Dr. Bawumia

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Amasaman Constituency has officially launched its campaign to support the Parliamentary Candidate, Yahya Kassim, and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

The launch took place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, and marks the beginning of efforts to rally constituents behind the party’s agenda.

During the event, the Parliamentary Candidate for Amasaman Constituency, Yahya Kassim Atta emphasized that this campaign launch signifies a commitment to hard work aimed at garnering substantial support for the NPP.

He preached unity among party members, stating that with collective effort, the NPP can achieve significant milestones and successfully break the eight-year political cycle.

Mr. Kassim also outlined various developmental projects that the NPP plans to implement, including improvements in road infrastructure, quality education, and other community enhancements.

He assured constituents that under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, the party is dedicated to fostering economic growth and infrastructural development in Amasaman.

NPP Regional Chairman, Divine Otoo Agorhom, reinforced Kassim’s message, declaring that the Parliamentary Candidate is now a vital asset of the party.

He urged supporters to rally around Kassim to ensure victory in the 2024 elections. Agorhom highlighted that every Ghanaian has benefited from NPP policies, citing initiatives like free SHS and consistent electricity supply as examples of the party’s positive impact.

The current Member of Parliament for Amasaman, Akwasi Owusu Afrifa-Mensah, also spoke at the launch.

He called on constituents to actively promote the NPP’s achievements and support Kassim. He warned that failing to do so could allow the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to capitalize on any shortcomings.

According to him, the campaign launch reflects the NPP’s strategy to solidify its support base ahead of the elections and emphasizes a commitment to continuing its development agenda for the Amasaman Constituency.
