
The Fanteakwa South District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Ernest Ofosu, alongside the Member of Parliament (MP) and Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the area, Duke Ofori Atta, has officially commissioned new pavement concrete kerbs, a septic system, and a water tank at the Osino Market Centre.
This initiative, funded through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), aims to enhance community livelihood by providing a more conducive environment for business activities.
During the commissioning ceremony, DCE Ofosu emphasized the importance of the new facilities in facilitating daily economic activities for residents.
According to him, the construction of these concrete paved blocks will enable the communities to engage in trading activities that improve their lives and increase revenue generation.
He also urged local residents to fulfill their tax obligations to support the district’s revenue generation efforts, which are crucial for implementing transformational projects.

Mr. Duke Ofori Atta, the Fanteakwa South Parliamentary Candidate, highlighted the significant role that market centers play in local economies and district revenue generation.
He noted that the new facilities would boost economic activities and called on Ghanaians to make informed choices during the upcoming elections.
Mr. Ofori Atta underscored the importance of voting for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and himself to ensure continuity in the NPP’s developmental projects.
Market women expressed their gratitude for the new concrete paved blocks, describing them as a major relief that would sustain business activities in their communities.
According to them, these improvements at Osino Market are expected to enhance trading conditions and support local entrepreneurs.
