President John Mahama has appealed to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to set aside political differences and participate in the upcoming National Economic Dialogue actively.
Delivering his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday, February 27, 2025, he stated that he believes in teamwork and that rebuilding the economy requires unity and participation from all stakeholders, irrespective of political differences.
He appealed to the minority in Parliament not to boycott the dialogue instead, come onboard to reset the nation back to where it once was.
”The National Economic Dialogue is an opportunity for all of us to come together and reset our economy for the betterment of Ghana,” he stated.
”Together we shall build the Ghana we all want.”
President John Mahama announced a National Economic Dialogue scheduled for March 3 to 4, 2025 at the Accra International Conference Center.
This dialogue serves as a platform where Ghanaians will learn about pressing economic issues and find ways to solve these issues to ensure economic growth.
The theme for the dialogue is “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together.”
