E/R ; RESIDENTS CHARGES TO BE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS.

The Kwahu West Municipal Chief Executive,Hon. Tamimu Halidu has charged residents of Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West Municipality to be environmentally conscious during a clean-up exercise in the Municipality.

The MCE made these remarks during the observation of the sanitation day at Nkawkaw recently, where the exercise brought together Police personnel department, heads of departments from the Assembly, Sanitation officers also community volunteers.

 

Speaking after the exercise, Hon. Tamimu Halidu underscored the importance of maintaining a clean environment, noting that cleaner surroundings not only improve public health but also boost the Municipality attractiveness and economic potential.

On her part,Chief Superintendent Sofia Eva Anim,Nkawkaw Divisional Police Commander,lauded the government’s sanitation initiative efforts.

He encouraged people to embrace the Sanitation initiative that transform lives and reiterated, the Police commitment to prioritizing sanitation so therefore used the opportunity to called on all stakeholders to support through unity and commended the police personnel for their active participation.

Mr. Klenam Eric,Director of Nkawkaw Klemav Sanitation Company, limited in charge of Kwahu West Municipality, acknowledged the efforts of the residents and their active participation towards the clean up exercise.

To him is a step in the right direction for the Municipality and extended gratitude to every person joined to uphold the nation’s mandate to ensure that they develop and assured “Klemav Sanitation Company’s” readyness to do the work to make Kwahu West clean environmental friendly.
