The residents of Tease in the Pitiku Traditional Area of the Kwahu Afram Plains South, Eastern Region, has expressed excitement and heaved with a sigh of relief, hopeful of improved development following the successful installation of a young “New Tease Chief” after over 14 years of vacancy.
In his maiden address, Nana Asamadu Kwakye Ansong lV, the New Chief of “Tease” community in the Kwahu Afram Plains South Districts expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kingmarkers and the elders of the “Aduana clan” for the confidence reposed in him
He assuring the people of his unwavering commitment and determination to sustain Unity, Peace and Progress, whiles outlined his vision for the people highlighting the urgent need for development with a pledged to focus on key sectors such as Education, Health, lnfrastructure and Road Networks to drive progress.
The traditional leader promised to operates on an Open-door leadership, Tolerant to criticisms and Respect for one another in ensuring peaceful coexistence for development.
He further pointed out his ability to serve diligently and acknowledged the trust reposed in him, also expressed optimism that his leadership will strengthen family bonds and promote cultural heritage, in furtherance encouraged the youth to uphold values such as humility, discipline, and respect stressing, these virtues remain essential in grooming future leaders.
On his part,Nana Opoku Kakari lV,Kwahu Pitiku Gyaasehene,speaking on behalf of the Kingmakers, explained, after 14 years vacancy of Tease being without a recognised chief, the Traditional Area has finally enstooled.
