E/R ..1000 MONO DESKS DONATES AND HANDS OVER TO DISTRICT EDUCATION DIRECTRATE.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kwahu East,Hon. Samuel Asamoah,has supplied thousend (1000) metallic mono desks to some selected schools for District education Directrate for distribution to schools across the district.

According to the DCE, it forms part of the Assembly’s ongoing efforts to address the persistent shortage of classroom furniture in the educational institutions.

The intervention is expected to improve teaching and learning conditions while creating more conducive environment for students so therefore, encouraged the head teachers present to take good care of the desks so that they can last longer.
According to him the initiative affirm
government’s commitment in improving access to quality education by ensuring that schools are adequately equipped with the necessary infrastructure and learning resources.
A total of 28 selected schools, 8 SHS and 20 Basic Schools across the District are expected to benefit from the first phase of the distribution exercise.
On his part, the Kwahu East District Education Directorate,Mr. George Kwame Sumoah thanked the DCE and the Government for the kind gesture on continuous support towards education in the District.

He promised in making sure the desks are properly taken care of and used for its intended purpose as expected, whiles further appealed to the DCE for more desks for other schools that are in dire need of them.
