UNAUTHORIZE STRUCTURES FACES DEMOLITION. ALONG THE Nkawkaw BY-PASS ROAD.
Kwahu West Municipal Security Council (MEGSEC) has recently embarked on demolition exercise of unauthorized structures as part of efforts to sanitize the municipality which the team stormed Nkawkaw By-Pass Road to demolished numbers of illegal structures built along the by-pass road
suspected to be a security threat of criminalities.
Speaking in an interview with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwahu West Municipality Hon. Tamimu Halidu, explained that, the greater goal is to preserve the place to support the Forestry Commission to promote greening of the environment.
He alluded that the exercise is to deter encroachment and also to reduce the criminal activities ongoing at the place and therefore expresed that, measures will put in place to prevent similar illegal structures from being built in the future.
