ROBERT MENSAH ELECTED AHAFO REGIONAL NPP CHAIRMAN, CALLS FOR UNITY AHEAD OF 2028*ELECTION
Robert Mensah has been elected as the Ahafo Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the party’s regional elections.
His victory makes him the *first person to occupy the position in the current executive cycle
In his victory speech, Mr. Mensah called on party members to put aside their differences and work together.
_“Let us become one. Those who lost, let us call them and bring them back so that together we can win 2028,”_ he said.
He emphasized that the NPP did not lose, but must now work harder to increase its parliamentary and presidential fortunes.
He noted that in 2024 the party secured only *1 parliamentary seat in some areas*, and the focus now is to come back stronger.
Mr. Mensah described his election as historic and promised to work for the growth and development of the NPP in the Ahafp Regional
The new Regional Chairman delivered parts of his unity message during community events politics, and development as the party prepares for 2028.
