AHAFO REGIONAL ZOOMLION UNDERTAKES FUMIGATION EXERCISE AT HWIDIEM
Zoomlion Ghana Limited in the Ahafo Region has undertaken a fumigation and disinfection exercise in the Asutifi South District, Hwidiem, as part of a nationwide disinfection campaign.
The exercise, which is currently on day two in the region, is aimed at disinfecting public places to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
Speaking during the exercise on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the Ahafo Regional Manager of Zoomlion, Mr. Nobel Nude, said the exercise is being carried out across the entire country and the Ahafo Region is part of it.
According to him, the exercise has been successful so far. He disclosed that on Monday the team was in Goaso where they were able to cover a lot of public places including markets, lorry stations, and other public gathering points.
“Today, Tuesday 25th August 2026, we are at Hwidiem and other places that have been identified by the assembly,” Mr. Nude said.
He added that the exercise will continue to cover other districts in the region in the coming days.
