I began a working visit to the Eastern Region today, 4th March 2024.
To kickstart my tour of the region, I held an Open Forum with the staff of the Eastern Regional Education Directorate, and other education stakeholders including; the Conference of Directors of Education (CODE), Conference of Heads of Basic Schools (COHBS), Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS), Conference of Managers of Educational Units (COMEU), Association of Accountants, Associations of Domestic Bursars, Association of Suppliers, Association of Internal Auditors, and other staff.
Among other things, I encouraged all staff to uphold values that will help us build a 21st-century organization for the benefit of our learners and staff.
I was joined by the Deputy Director-General in charge of Management Services, Mr. Stephen Kwaku Owusu; the Eastern Regional Director of Education, Mrs. Ivy Asantewa Owusu, and other Directors.
