The parliamentary Candidate for the Amasaman constituency Hon Sedem Afenyo has visited the constituency ahead of the upcoming General elections.
Sedem Afenyo, member of parliament for Amasaman constituency said the reason why they visited them is the direction Ghana is going and he is worried for the drivers because there’s always increasing in Fuel prices, spare parts prices, and drivers move up the economy so if drivers are suffering then the whole Ghana is suffering.
He stated that they are there to assure them if they vote for NDC in 2024 they will get the piece of mind to work.
In 2016 before NDC was going out of power one gallon of fuel was 14 Ghana cedis but now it’s 100 Ghana cedis.
The NPP government deceived us by saying our president was incompetent and the competent one is now the current president and what are we seeing,I want to assure you that the next NDC government will make your life comfortable.
Regarding the ongoing road construction in the Amasaman constituency, I don’t think someone has come from the Assembly to show drivers that after the work is done because they don’t think of you
So I have decided to help the Taxes and Okada stations who have been affected by the road construction am here to tell you that before the road is constructed we will get you a befitting station because we want you to know that we the NDC think much of you So we are here to give you the maximum support you need.
We want to share NDC stickers for every commercial car driver to stick it at the back of their cars and we will be promoting that, So every week we will send out our scouts to spot and write down the car numbers who still have the sticker on their car and will announce your names for you to come to our party Office and will get free fuel coupons.
We are doing this for drivers because anytime there is an increase in fuel we the NDC will support you with fuel coupons and it will start from the April to December General election.
All that we need from you is that on the 7th of December, you will not go and vote alone but will call your friends and family for all to vote because, in the last election, more than 4200 people didn’t vote in the Amasaman constituency. After all, some were angry.
Now we have to compare NPP and NDC and you can draw the line that NDC is the best when it comes to government. The NPP promised 1 million dollars for one constituency and if you ask MCE he will tell you the common fund hasn’t come, the promised village is one Dam and we have many villages in Amasaman that don’t have the Dam.
Formal President John Dramani Mahama promised us SHS and Amasaman got one, he also built the Pokuase interchange and Akuffo Addo’s promise has failed Ghanaians.
Greater Accra Chairman for the NDC also said only His Excellency John Dramani Mahama can not go everywhere in Ghana so he is there to support the member of parliament to complete his visit.
So what he is adding from the presidency is that he will come back on May 1, to check those who still have the sticker on their car will have a special reward attached to the fuel coupon.
Constituency Chairman for Amasaman, Nii John Desmond Sowoah also added that today is a great day for Amasaman because the Greater Accra Chairman has come from the comfort zone and with us at the grass root to work with us.
He added that we voted for Afrifa to represent us in the parliament from the NPP and he has done nothing even the NPP people voted him out during their primaries and this is the time we want you the drivers to put NDC stickers on your car so that when we come in power we will help you.
